When you arrive for your vampire facial in Longview or any of our New You locations, your skin will be cleansed and you will be given a topical anesthetic to help minimize any discomfort during the microneedling or microdermabrasion part of the treatment.
A small amount of blood will be drawn from a vein, usually in the arm. This blood will be placed within a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the platelet-rich plasma in layers.
Once this has been done, the platelet-rich plasma will be added into a syringe so that it can be incorporated into the rest of your treatment, which typically either involves microneedling or microdermabrasion.
Either way, your very own platelet-rich plasma will be infused into your skin. This means that there is no risk of an allergic reaction, as the treatment simply uses your own blood.
