Refresh Your Look With Personalized Neurotoxin Treatments

Expression is a natural part of how you communicate, but repeated facial movements can gradually create lines that remain visible even when your face is relaxed. Neurotoxin injections offer a non-surgical way to soften dynamic wrinkles by temporarily reducing activity in carefully selected facial muscles.

At New You Aesthetics & Wellness, neurotoxin treatments are personalized around your facial anatomy, muscle movement, and aesthetic goals. New You offers Botox®, Xeomin®, and Daxxify®, allowing your provider to select an appropriate option while creating results designed to look refreshed rather than overdone.

What Are Neurotoxin Injections?

Neurotoxins are injectable treatments that temporarily reduce targeted muscle activity. When placed into specific facial muscles, they can soften the repetitive contractions responsible for dynamic wrinkles such as frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet.
Botox®, Xeomin®, and Daxxify® are all botulinum toxin type A products, but they are separate formulations with their own dosing, approved uses, and expected duration. This makes individualized product selection and injection planning important rather than treating every neurotoxin as interchangeable.

Which Neurotoxins Does New You Offer?

New You Aesthetics & Wellness offers three neurotoxin options:
  • Botox® Cosmetic: A well-established neurotoxin used to temporarily improve appropriate facial expression lines.
  • Xeomin®: A botulinum toxin type A formulation used to temporarily improve appropriate facial lines caused by muscle activity.
  • Daxxify®: A peptide-formulated botulinum toxin type A option that can provide longer-lasting improvement of appropriate frown lines for some patients.
Your provider can help determine which formulation best fits your treatment area, previous neurotoxin experience, desired longevity, and aesthetic goals.

How Do Neurotoxin Injections Work?

Dynamic wrinkles develop as facial muscles repeatedly contract when you smile, squint, frown, or raise your eyebrows. Neurotoxins temporarily interrupt the signaling responsible for contraction in specifically targeted muscles, reducing the repetitive movement that contributes to these lines.
As the treated muscles relax, the skin above them can appear smoother and expression lines become less noticeable. Because neurotoxins affect muscle movement rather than adding volume, treatment can refresh the face without changing its underlying contours.

What Areas Can Neurotoxin Injections Treat?

Treatment placement is determined by your facial anatomy, muscle movement, the neurotoxin selected, and the concerns you want to address. Each product also has its own approved uses, so not every formulation is appropriate for every area.
Common treatment areas may include:
  • Frown Lines: Softens vertical lines that develop between the eyebrows from repeated muscle movement.
  • Forehead Lines: Reduces the appearance of horizontal lines associated with raising the eyebrows.
  • Crow’s Feet: Softens expression lines that form around the outer corners of the eyes.
  • Upper Face: Multiple areas may be evaluated together to maintain natural balance between surrounding facial muscles.
  • Neck Bands: Appropriate neurotoxin treatment may be considered for visible platysma bands depending on the product and individualized treatment plan.

What Are the Benefits of Neurotoxin Injections?

Neurotoxin treatment allows specific areas of muscle activity to be addressed without adding facial volume or requiring surgery. At New You, the goal is to create a treatment plan that complements your natural expressions and facial proportions rather than applying the same injection pattern to every patient.
Potential benefits include:
  • Softens dynamic fine lines and wrinkles
  • Reduces the appearance of frown lines
  • Smooths appropriate forehead lines and crow’s feet
  • Provides a non-surgical approach to facial rejuvenation
  • Requires no incisions
  • Can be customized according to facial anatomy and muscle strength
  • Does not add volume to the face
  • Offers multiple formulation options based on individual needs

Who Is a Candidate for Neurotoxin Injections?

Neurotoxin injections may be appropriate for adults who are bothered by expression lines caused by repeated facial movement and want a non-surgical approach to rejuvenation. Treatment may also appeal to patients who want to maintain a refreshed appearance while preserving natural facial expression.
Candidacy is determined individually. Your provider will review your medical history, medications, previous injectable treatments, treatment goals, and other relevant factors before determining whether Botox, Xeomin, Daxxify, or another approach is appropriate.

What to Expect During Neurotoxin Treatment

Your appointment begins with an evaluation of your face both at rest and during expression. Your provider considers where lines appear, which muscles are creating them, how strongly those muscles contract, and how surrounding areas work together before developing an injection plan.
Small amounts of the selected neurotoxin are then administered at carefully chosen points. The number of injections and amount of product needed vary according to the treatment area, product selected, muscle strength, facial anatomy, and desired degree of correction.

What Is Recovery Like After Neurotoxin Injections?

Neurotoxin injections typically involve minimal downtime, although temporary redness, tenderness, swelling, or bruising may occur around injection sites. Many patients are able to return to their usual daily activities shortly after treatment.
Your provider will give you specific post-treatment instructions based on the product and areas treated. Following these recommendations can help support an appropriate recovery and treatment response.

When Will You See Results From Neurotoxin Injections?

Neurotoxin results develop gradually as the treatment begins reducing activity in the targeted muscles. Some patients begin noticing changes within the first several days, while the full effect may take longer to become apparent depending on the product and individual response.
Because Botox, Xeomin, and Daxxify are different formulations, their onset should not be assumed to be identical. Your provider can discuss what to expect based on the specific neurotoxin selected for your treatment.

How Long Do Neurotoxin Results Last?

Neurotoxin results are temporary. Longevity varies based on the product selected, treatment area, dose, muscle strength, metabolism, and individual response.
Botox Cosmetic generally provides results lasting up to approximately four months for appropriate facial lines, while Xeomin commonly lasts a similar general timeframe. Daxxify was developed as a longer-duration option and may provide improvement for approximately six months or longer for some patients treated for glabellar lines. Results vary, so maintenance should be planned according to your individual response rather than a predetermined schedule.

Botox vs. Xeomin vs. Daxxify

Botox, Xeomin, and Daxxify all temporarily reduce targeted muscle activity, but differences in formulation, approved uses, dosing, and expected duration can influence which option is recommended. No single neurotoxin is automatically the best choice for every patient.
  Botox® Xeomin® Daxxify®
Type Botulinum toxin type A Botulinum toxin type A Botulinum toxin type A
Primary Purpose Dynamic expression lines Dynamic expression lines Dynamic expression lines
Adds Volume? No No No
Results Temporary Temporary Temporary
Best For Determined by individual anatomy and goals Determined by individual anatomy and goals Patients who prefer a longer-duration option when appropriate
Your provider will consider more than longevity when recommending a product. Facial anatomy, treatment area, muscle activity, previous response to neurotoxins, and the amount of movement you want to maintain all influence treatment planning.

What Can Be Paired With Neurotoxin Injections?

Neurotoxins specifically address wrinkles related to muscle movement, so another treatment may be recommended when facial aging also involves volume loss or changes in skin quality. Combination treatment should be based on your individual concerns rather than adding procedures that are not necessary.
  • Dermal Filler: May restore or enhance volume in areas where neurotoxins cannot address structural changes.
  • Biostimulators: May be considered when gradual collagen support is part of the treatment goal.
  • Under-Eye PRP: Offers a different approach for selected under-eye concerns that are not caused primarily by muscle movement.
  • Non-Surgical Neck Restoration: May complement facial rejuvenation when visible aging also extends to the neck.

Everyone is always friendly. Staff is great and answer any questions i might have. Little expensive but worth it to have everything taken care of at one place. With others you have to pay for labs and get them done somewhere else and no one to talk to about my concerns. They get me supplies if i need them and it’s pretty quick. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my trt therapy.
