Personalized Injections to Support Your Wellness Goals

When nutrition, lifestyle, and everyday habits are not fully addressing how you feel, targeted wellness support may have a place in a more personalized plan. Injectable nutrients and compounds provide another way to supplement specific substances based on your individual needs and wellness goals.

At New You Aesthetics & Wellness, our wellness injection menu includes B12, Lipo, Carnitine, Biotin, Glutathione, NAD+, Amino Blend, Vitamin D, and Immune Boost options. Rather than assuming every injection is appropriate for everyone, our provider-led approach focuses on selecting options that make sense for your individual health, goals, and broader wellness plan.

What Are Wellness Injections?

Wellness injections are injectable formulations containing vitamins, nutrients, amino acids, or other compounds selected to complement specific wellness goals. Depending on the formulation, an injection may contain a single ingredient or a blend of ingredients.
Because each option is different, wellness injections should not be treated as interchangeable. Your health history, current needs, goals, and other relevant factors can help determine whether an injection is appropriate and which option may make the most sense for you.

Which Wellness Injections Does New You Offer?

New You offers a broad menu of wellness injections, giving patients several options that can be considered within an individualized wellness plan.
  • B12: Vitamin B12 injections may be considered when additional B12 support is appropriate.
  • Lipo: A wellness injection option designed for patients whose individualized plan includes lipotropic support.
  • Carnitine: Provides injectable carnitine as part of a personalized wellness plan.
  • Biotin: Provides supplemental biotin in injectable form when appropriate.
  • Glutathione: An injectable option containing glutathione, a substance naturally present in the body.
  • NAD+: Provides nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide as part of an individualized wellness approach.
  • Amino Blend: Combines amino acids in an injectable wellness formulation.
  • Vitamin D: Provides supplemental vitamin D through an injectable option when appropriate.
  • Immune Boost: A wellness injection blend offered as part of New You’s current injection menu.
The appropriate selection depends on your individual needs. Specific ingredients, dosing, frequency, and recommendations should be reviewed with the New You team rather than assuming a particular injection is appropriate based on its name alone.

How Do Wellness Injections Work?

Wellness injections deliver their ingredients by injection rather than through an oral supplement. Once administered, the specific vitamin, nutrient, amino acid, or compound is available to the body through the route used for that particular formulation.
What happens after administration depends on the ingredients in the injection and the reason it was recommended. Because the formulations on New You’s menu serve different purposes, your provider can help determine which option aligns with your needs rather than approaching every injection as a general wellness solution.

What Wellness Goals Can Injections Support?

The reason for considering a wellness injection varies from person to person. Some patients may be interested in addressing a specific nutritional need, while others may be exploring how targeted supplementation fits into their broader wellness routine.
Depending on the injection selected and your individual needs, wellness injections may be considered as part of a plan focused on:
  • Nutrient Support: Provides selected vitamins or nutrients through an injectable route.
  • Vitamin B12 Support: B12 injections may be considered when supplemental B12 is appropriate.
  • Vitamin D Support: Injectable vitamin D may be considered based on individual needs.
  • Amino Acid Support: Amino Blend and Carnitine provide amino-acid-related options within the wellness menu.
  • Antioxidant Support: Glutathione plays an established role in the body’s antioxidant systems.
  • Personalized Wellness: Different formulations allow recommendations to be tailored instead of relying on one universal injection.

What Are the Benefits of Wellness Injections?

The potential benefit of a wellness injection depends on its ingredients and why it is being used. A B12 injection, for example, should not be expected to serve the same purpose as glutathione, vitamin D, carnitine, or another formulation.
Potential advantages of a personalized injection plan include:
  • Provides targeted injectable supplementation
  • Offers multiple vitamin, nutrient, and wellness formulations
  • Allows recommendations to be tailored to individual needs
  • Provides an alternative route to oral supplementation when appropriate
  • Can be incorporated into a broader wellness plan
  • Allows the specific formulation and frequency to be selected individually
  • Is administered within a provider-led wellness practice
  • Can be reassessed as your needs and goals change

Who Is a Candidate for Wellness Injections?

Candidacy depends on the specific injection rather than simply whether someone wants more energy or improved wellness. Your health history, current medications and supplements, nutritional needs, symptoms, and other relevant factors may all influence whether a particular injection is appropriate.
New You’s One Size Fits None philosophy is especially important with wellness therapies. An injection that makes sense for one person may not be necessary or appropriate for another, so recommendations should be based on your individual needs rather than wellness trends alone.

What to Expect During a Wellness Injection Appointment

Your visit begins by determining which wellness injection is appropriate for your needs and confirming any relevant health information. The selected formulation is then administered according to the protocol used for that particular injection.
Appointments are generally straightforward, but the exact route, dosing, and recommended frequency can differ between formulations. Your New You provider will explain what applies to the injection you receive and whether repeat visits are recommended as part of your plan.

Is There Downtime After Wellness Injections?

Wellness injections generally do not involve the type of recovery associated with surgical or energy-based procedures. However, temporary effects at the injection site, such as tenderness, redness, swelling, or bruising, can occur after an injection.
Other potential effects depend on the specific formulation and your individual response. Your provider can review relevant risks and aftercare for the injection recommended to you before it is administered.

When Will I Notice Results From a Wellness Injection?

There is no universal results timeline for wellness injections. The ingredients vary significantly across the menu, and your baseline health, reason for treatment, formulation, dosing schedule, and individual response can all affect what you notice and when.
Some injections may be used to address a documented nutritional need, while others may be incorporated into a broader wellness plan. Your provider can give you more realistic expectations once the appropriate formulation and reason for treatment have been established.

How Often Can You Get Wellness Injections?

Injection frequency depends on the formulation, your individual needs, and the reason it was recommended. There is no single schedule that should be applied to B12, NAD+, vitamin D, glutathione, carnitine, or the other options on the menu.
Your provider can determine whether a single injection, periodic treatment, or another schedule is appropriate. Recommendations may also change over time based on your response and evolving wellness needs.

Wellness Injections vs. Oral Supplements

Both injections and oral supplements can provide vitamins, nutrients, and other compounds, but they use different routes of administration. One is not automatically superior to the other in every situation.
  Wellness Injections Oral Supplements
Administration Given by injection Taken by mouth
Formulations Selected injectable ingredients or blends Wide variety of tablets, capsules, liquids, and powders
Selection Can be recommended based on individual needs Often purchased independently
Frequency Depends on formulation and treatment plan Depends on supplement and directions
Professional Oversight Administered within a professional setting Varies by product and use
The right approach depends on what you actually need, which is why individualized guidance is more useful than assuming an injectable option is always the better choice.

Can Wellness Injections Be Part of a Broader Wellness Plan?

Yes. Wellness injections can be incorporated into a more comprehensive approach when they are appropriate for your individual needs. They do not replace nutrition, movement, sleep, medical care, or other foundational aspects of health.
At New You, wellness care is built around the individual rather than adding treatments simply because they are available. Your provider can help determine where an injection fits within your overall plan and whether another approach should take priority.

Everyone is always friendly. Staff is great and answer any questions i might have. Little expensive but worth it to have everything taken care of at one place. With others you have to pay for labs and get them done somewhere else and no one to talk to about my concerns. They get me supplies if i need them and it’s pretty quick. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my trt therapy.

Frequently Asked Questions About Wellness Injections

Do vitamin shots really work?

Vitamin injections can effectively deliver the vitamin or nutrient they contain, but whether an injection provides a meaningful benefit depends on the ingredient and whether you have an individual need for it. They should not be expected to provide the same results for everyone or to compensate for unrelated health concerns.

What is a B12 injection used for?

Vitamin B12 is necessary for functions including healthy red blood cell formation and neurological function. B12 injections may be used to prevent or treat certain forms of vitamin B12 deficiency, while whether supplementation is appropriate depends on individual circumstances.

What are NAD+ injections?

NAD+, or nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, is a molecule naturally involved in cellular processes throughout the body. New You includes NAD+ among its wellness injection options, but recommendations should be individualized because broad wellness or anti-aging claims for supplemental NAD+ should not be assumed.

How often should you get wellness injections?

There is no universal schedule. Frequency depends on the injection, reason for use, individual needs, and provider recommendation, so B12, vitamin D, NAD+, glutathione, and other formulations may have very different treatment schedules.

Are wellness injections safe?

Injectable treatments can have risks, including temporary injection-site reactions, and individual considerations vary according to the ingredients being administered. Your provider should review your health history and the relevant risks before recommending a particular injection.

Which wellness injection is best for me?

There is no single injection that is best for everyone. The appropriate option depends on your health, goals, current supplements or medications, and reason for considering injectable supplementation.
