Brighten Your Smile With Professional Teeth Whitening

Coffee, tea, red wine, tobacco, aging, and everyday habits can gradually leave teeth looking darker or more stained than they once did. Teeth whitening in Longview, TX offers a cosmetic way to brighten natural teeth and refresh the overall appearance of your smile without changing their shape or structure.

At New You Aesthetics & Wellness, DaVinci Teeth Whitening provides a professional-grade whitening option for patients who want a brighter, cleaner-looking smile. The service is part of New You’s Laser & Devices offerings and uses the DaVinci professional whitening system rather than an over-the-counter whitening product.

What Is DaVinci Teeth Whitening?

DaVinci Teeth Whitening is a professional cosmetic whitening system designed to lighten stains and discoloration on natural teeth. The manufacturer uses a proprietary whitening gel made with food-grade hydrogen peroxide and pairs the treatment with its LED whitening technology.
Hydrogen peroxide is also one of the most commonly used active ingredients in tooth-whitening treatments. It works by breaking down stain-causing compounds within the tooth, helping the enamel appear lighter and brighter.

How Does DaVinci Teeth Whitening Work?

During treatment, DaVinci whitening gel is applied to the natural teeth being treated. The system’s LED whitening light is then used as part of the professional whitening process while the gel works on visible discoloration.
DaVinci states that its proprietary gel is formulated with food-grade hydrogen peroxide and plant-based stabilizers. Rather than simply polishing away superficial buildup, peroxide-based whitening changes the color of stain-causing compounds within the tooth, which can produce a visibly brighter shade.

What Types of Tooth Discoloration Can DaVinci Teeth Whitening Address?

Teeth can become discolored for many different reasons, and not every type of discoloration responds identically to whitening. Professional whitening is generally most useful for natural teeth affected by common extrinsic staining or certain age-related changes.
DaVinci Teeth Whitening may help improve discoloration associated with:
  • Coffee and Tea: Dark beverages can gradually contribute to visible staining.
  • Red Wine: Pigments in wine may leave the teeth looking darker over time.
  • Certain Foods: Highly pigmented foods can contribute to surface discoloration.
  • Tobacco Use: Smoking and other tobacco exposure can create noticeable staining.
  • Natural Aging: Teeth can appear darker as enamel changes and underlying dentin becomes more visible.
  • General Surface Staining: Everyday habits may gradually dull the natural brightness of the smile.
The American Dental Association notes that both extrinsic and some intrinsic staining can respond to whitening, although the degree of improvement depends on the cause of discoloration.

What Are the Benefits of DaVinci Teeth Whitening?

Professional teeth whitening offers a straightforward way to improve the color of natural teeth without altering their shape. For patients who primarily want to address staining or dullness, whitening can provide a more targeted cosmetic option than restorative dental procedures.
Potential benefits include:
  • Brightens the appearance of natural teeth
  • Helps reduce visible stains and discoloration
  • Uses a professional-grade whitening system
  • Incorporates DaVinci’s LED whitening technology
  • Can provide faster visible whitening than many gradual at-home methods
  • Does not require injections or surgical treatment
  • Can refresh the overall appearance of the smile
  • Offers a professionally administered alternative to store-bought whitening products

Who Is a Candidate for DaVinci Teeth Whitening?

DaVinci Teeth Whitening may be appropriate for adults with natural teeth who want to reduce visible staining or discoloration. The best candidates understand that whitening results depend on the starting shade of the teeth, the cause of discoloration, previous dental work, and individual response.
It is also important to remember that whitening products change the shade of natural tooth structure, not crowns, veneers, implants, or tooth-colored restorations. The ADA recommends considering existing restorations and oral health before whitening because these materials generally will not lighten along with natural teeth.

What to Expect During DaVinci Teeth Whitening

Your appointment begins with a review of your whitening goals and the appearance of your current tooth shade. The DaVinci whitening gel is then applied as directed by the professional system, and the whitening light is positioned to support the treatment process.
The exact appointment protocol should follow New You’s trained DaVinci process. Because whitening response differs from person to person, the goal is to create a noticeably brighter smile while keeping expectations realistic rather than promising a specific number of shades for every patient.

Is There Downtime After DaVinci Teeth Whitening?

There is generally no traditional downtime after cosmetic teeth whitening, so most patients can return to their normal routine following treatment. However, temporary tooth sensitivity or gum irritation can occur with peroxide-based whitening treatments.
The ADA identifies temporary tooth sensitivity and gingival irritation as the most common adverse effects of vital tooth whitening. These effects are generally transient, but patients with a history of sensitivity should discuss that before beginning treatment.

When Will You See DaVinci Teeth Whitening Results?

One of the advantages of an in-office or professionally administered whitening treatment is that visible improvement can occur much more quickly than with many gradual at-home approaches. Teeth may appear brighter after the appointment, although the degree of shade change varies from person to person.
Your starting shade, type of staining, enamel characteristics, and previous dental work all influence the final appearance. Whitening should therefore be viewed as an individualized cosmetic treatment rather than a guarantee of an exact shade.

How Long Do DaVinci Teeth Whitening Results Last?

Teeth whitening results are not permanent because natural teeth remain exposed to foods, beverages, tobacco, and other factors that can cause new staining. Good oral hygiene and limiting highly staining habits can help maintain a brighter appearance for longer.
Some patients may eventually choose additional whitening as discoloration returns. The appropriate timing depends on your habits, oral health, sensitivity, and how well your results are maintained.

DaVinci Teeth Whitening vs. At-Home Whitening Products

Both professional and at-home whitening products can use peroxide-based ingredients, but they differ in concentration, application, supervision, and how quickly results may develop. Over-the-counter strips and gels typically use lower concentrations and require repeated use over a longer period.
DaVinci Teeth Whitening uses a professional-grade system with its proprietary hydrogen peroxide gel and LED whitening technology. For patients who prefer a professionally administered cosmetic treatment rather than managing repeated home applications, DaVinci may offer a more convenient option.

Everyone is always friendly. Staff is great and answer any questions i might have. Little expensive but worth it to have everything taken care of at one place. With others you have to pay for labs and get them done somewhere else and no one to talk to about my concerns. They get me supplies if i need them and it’s pretty quick. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my trt therapy.

Frequently Asked Questions About DaVinci Teeth Whitening

Is DaVinci Teeth Whitening worth it?

DaVinci Teeth Whitening may be worth considering if you want a professionally administered whitening treatment rather than relying on repeated over-the-counter products. The system uses a proprietary hydrogen peroxide whitening gel with LED technology, but the value of treatment depends on your starting tooth shade, type of staining, expectations, and cosmetic goals.

How much does DaVinci teeth whitening cost?

The cost of DaVinci Teeth Whitening at New You depends on the treatment offered and current practice pricing. The best way to receive accurate pricing is to contact New You Aesthetics & Wellness directly before scheduling your appointment.

What is the highest rated teeth whitening product?

There is no single teeth whitening product that can objectively be called the highest rated for every patient. Whitening systems differ in active ingredients, strength, delivery method, sensitivity, and treatment goals, so the most appropriate option depends on the individual and the type of discoloration being treated.

How long do DaVinci Teeth Whitening results last?

The longevity of whitening results varies according to diet, oral hygiene, smoking or tobacco use, and how frequently you consume staining foods or beverages. Whitening does not permanently prevent new discoloration, so future maintenance may be appropriate.

Does DaVinci Teeth Whitening work on crowns or veneers?

No whitening treatment can change the color of crowns, veneers, implants, or other tooth-colored restorations in the same way it whitens natural enamel. The ADA notes that only natural teeth respond to bleaching agents, which is important to consider if visible restorations are present.
